Has ANC Power Trip Made Lockdown More Dangerous Than Covid19? Permits Prevent Emergency Food Parcels Being Delivered, Threatening Mass Starvation While Long Queues Increase Contagion!
Power Corrupts and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely – These infamous words have come to define communism and are being proven to be true again in ANC South Africa. From a 3 kilometre queue where people stood shoulder to shoulder to massive crowds jammed together for food parcels, it seems the ANC power trip to control everything is in fact spreading the virus more! People cannot eat permits, regulations or policies yet a deranged ANC on a power trip is driving many families, both black and white, into starvation. Bureaucratic red tape created by a permit happy and regulation spewing ANC regime, trapped in a toxic mix of paranoia, racial hatred of minorities and tin pot power craving, is exacerbating the already existing hunger and threatening a mass famine in South Africa, because the corrupt ANC insists on controlling the distribution of food centrally, and in practice has stopped food being moved by many non governmental organizations (NGO’s) throughout the country, amidst the current COVID-19 lockdown which must be the hardest and most regulated lockdown in the world.

Hard times lies ahead for the ANC’s Department of Health:- angry nurses says, No jobs, no vote
“No jobs, no vote,” shouted disgruntled nurses who marched to the provincial health department in Pietermaritzburg.
Hundreds of nurses carried placards and handed over a memorandum demanding that unemployed nurses be employed by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health. Nurses from the Health and Other Service Personnel Trade Union of South Africa (HOSPERSA) were part of the march.
The marchers said there were 15,000 unemployed nurses in KZN and 40,000 vacancies for nurses nationwide, according to a “study”.
But when GroundUp asked the provincial chairperson of HOSPERSA, Thamsanqa Zondi, the source of these figures, he said the figures were estimates and should not be used by the media. He said the union did not have a copy of the study.
Last year nurses marched three times demanding that the health department prioritise their demands.
United Nurses Forum president Bhekithemba Gumbi said nothing had changed. Quoting the same figures, he said there was

Workers shut down the Fort Napier Medico Legal Mortuary in Pietermaritzburg
Workers shut down the Fort Napier Medico Legal Mortuary in Pietermaritzburg on Monday and Tuesday, turning away families who had come to fetch the bodies of loved ones.
Workers have been on a go-slow for two weeks, demanding a wage increase and better working conditions.
On Monday workers barricaded the road, blocking the mortuary gates with mortuary vans. Families who had come to collect the bodies of their loved ones were turned away.
“We are not allowing anyone to come in,” said one worker who did not want to be named. “None of the bodies are getting out or inside”, he said.
He said the workers had waited for MEC for health Sibongiseni Dhlomo to respond to their demands on Friday but he had not done so.
“They say the matter is being dealt with on a national level. We have decided to shut down the mortuary. The department has to respond,” he said.
Workers’ demands include the repair of air conditioners, better equipment and back pay.
