Last Friday 4 May 2018, Ferdie van Greunen and his family arrived at their home in Lynnwoodrif. An unknown vehicle was parked in the driveway. A former farmer of Zimbabwe who fled the country because of old president Robert Mugabe’s groundbreaking policy, died on Monday afternoon after he and his wife were attacked on their farm in the Northern Cape almost three weeks ago. Athol Harvey (80) and his wife, Colleen (78), of the farm Weltevrede near Spitskopdam were attacked and robbed in their home on February 14.
A FEISTY 79-year-old woman fought off three men who forcefully entered her home on a farm situated between Barkly West and Windsorton during the early hours of the morning of February 14.

The Grobelershoop police in the Northern Cape are investigating a case of murder after the body of a woman (65) was found on her smallholding on Tuesday 27 February 2018.
Captain Jaques September, a police spokesperson, said the body was found in her home at about 14:00 on Tuesday.
