Over 4,300 Farms in Government’s Hands – Yet They Want To Steal More Land “Without Compensation”

According to reports, the government owns large chunks of land and are yet to transfer the title deeds.
Returning land is a big deal in South Africa. The rhetoric that surrounds it resonates with millions of people and while land without compensation has long been on the Economic Freedom Fighters’ hymn sheet, it’s being sung in some corners of the African National Congress, too.

‘Whose land will you take? Who is not our people?’ – Lekota

Congress of the People leader Mosiuoa Lekota has asked President Cyril Ramaphosa and Parliament who will decide who gets the land, if they go ahead with plans for land expropriation without compensation.

Ramaphosa told Parliament, during his maiden State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Friday, that the ANC will go ahead with plans to amend the Constitution to allow expropriation without compensation.

The ANC And Ramaphosa’s 1994 Plan For The Whites Of South Africa

Cyril Ramaphosa And The Story Of The Frogs In The WaterIn recently published memoirs, one of Cyril Ramaphosa’s main opponents pays generous tribute to his character and negotiating skills during the talks leading up to the new South African constitution and the election in 1994.

Dr. Mario Oriani-Ambrosini, who died in 2014, was a constitutional lawyer who became an  MP. He was also a key adviser to Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi both during the negotiations and afterward when the latter was Minister of Home Affairs in the Government of National Unity. His memoirs – the Prince and I: A South African Institutional Odyssey – was published this year by his estate.

BFLF, “We are going to wage a war for the land”

In a recent video interview by Lauren Southern with a representative of BFLF (Black Fist Land Fist) it is unbelievable that ‘WAR’ is openly discussed as there only option to take over the land. The racist hatred comments spewing from this representative is reprehensible.

The ongoing farm attacks, farm murders, pillage of white property and murders of whites is out of control and clearly the result of this kind of rhetoric.

Free State dairy project damned in treasury investigation

A controversial R570-million Free State dairy project was riddled with irregularities, investigators for the national treasury have found.

Exclusive material from the investigation shows that the treasury launched a full-scale investigation of the Estina dairy following several Mail & Guardian exposés about it in mid-2013. The reports suggested the deal with Estina – a company without agricultural experience and led by a computer sales manager – flouted treasury rules and was designed to milk provincial government coffers.

This is absurd! – BLF welcomes the fire on Johann Rupert’s family farm

POSTED ON FEBRUARY 7, 2018 BY BLACK FIRST LAND FIRST – We are excited by the news that fire has broken out in some of the farms currently illegally owned by the Rupert family. Black First Land First (BLF) believes that the fire is the retribution by our black God. The fire is just and welcomed.

In May 2017, BLF gave whites until December that year to meet as whites and decide how to return our land. But like the stubborn and arrogant pharaohs of the bible, whites have responded with laughter at our call. We prayed to our black Gods to give us strength, unity and to punish those who stole our land. We prayed for draught and we prayed for fire upon the thieves.

DA KZN strategy moves past taking on ‘the man from Nkandla’

Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Mmusi Maimane has told the party’s KwaZulu-Natal provincial congress that it needs to go beyond “taking on the man from Nkandla” and turn itself into a stable government wherever it had taken power because of the easy target President Jacob Zuma had presented.

Maimane told the congress, held in Durban, that while the party had achieved what many would have thought impossible by taking the Cape Town, Nelson Mandela Bay, Tshwane and Johannesburg Metros, it had also made serious gains in KwaZulu-Natal in the 2016 local government elections. The DA now had branches all over the province and had increased its number of councillors from 150 councillors to 201, an increase of 11.88% of the vote in 2011 to 17.4% in 2016.

‘All Hell Will Break Loose’ Warns Zulu King Over Land Issue

The KwaZulu-Natal Amakhosi say that if government repeals the Ingonyama Act of 1994, what is left of the Zulu nation will be taken away. A high-level parliamentary panel has concluded that the act must be repealed or amended because its implementation has infringed on the individual land rights of beneficiaries. The act, which was born […]

South African president-in-waiting wants to ‘confiscate white farms without compensation’

The newly elected leader of South Africa’s ruling ANC (African National Congress), Cyril Ramaphosa, has come out strongly in favour of a Zimbabwe-style land grab in the country, promising to confiscate white-owned farms without compensation. In recent speeches Ramaphosa has also vowed to change the country’s constitution, which nominally guarantees private property rights, with the […]

South Africans are trying to decode Ramaphosa (and getting it wrong)

During the Cold War, a new profession emerged – “Kremlinologists”, a hodge-podge of academics, journalists, other scoundrels, and commentators, who would study every minute detail of the behaviour of Soviet Union leaders when they were in public. They examined who stood next to whom, whose chair was closer or further away from the leader, who […]

Ramaphosa: Taking land will turn SA into the Garden of Eden

South Africa could turn into the ultimate paradise with the implementation of the policy of expropriation of land without compensation, ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa said in Nongoma, Kwazulu-Natal on Sunday. “In fact, it is possible for us to begin a process of working the land and improving agriculture – making it a very successful factor […]

The Madness Of Land Expropriation Without Compensation: Stephen Mulholland Unpacks ANC Plans

EDINBURGH — Zimbabwe lies in tatters, thanks largely to policies like land expropriation – yet the ANC leadership has committed to taking similar steps in the belief that the outcome will be different in South Africa.1 The ANC has resolved to grab land, without compensation, in a way that does not damage the economy or food security. But, […]
