Former South African international star Naka Drotske is in critical condition in hospital after being shot three times during a farm attack in Pretoria. Drotske, 47, stormed the farm attackers who shot him and then fled. He won the Rugby Union World Cup with South Africa in 1995 and was with another former Springboks star, Os du Randt, when the incident occurred.

A farm attack in Elandslaagte that took place on May 5, 2018 saw farm workers being tied up and a home robbed.
A couple who stay on the farm, as workers, heard noises and went to investigate.
They were confronted by five men wearing balaclavas. The men grabbed them and tied them up.

A former farmer of Zimbabwe who fled the country because of old president Robert Mugabe’s groundbreaking policy, died on Monday afternoon after he and his wife were attacked on their farm in the Northern Cape almost three weeks ago. Athol Harvey (80) and his wife, Colleen (78), of the farm Weltevrede near Spitskopdam were attacked and robbed in their home on February 14.
A FEISTY 79-year-old woman fought off three men who forcefully entered her home on a farm situated between Barkly West and Windsorton during the early hours of the morning of February 14.

AN 81-YEAR-OLD man was pistol-whipped by armed men in a home invasion on Edgeley Road on Thursday afternoon. According to Greenwood Park police, the incident occurred just after midday.
Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, who tended to the victim said the armed men forced the driveway gates of the home open by using their car as a battering ram.
