Hundreds of cows dying from neglect has been termed “a challenge” by the MEC for Agriculture in the Eastern Cape, Nonkqubela Pieters. What normal people would call animal abuse, the socialists (sociopaths?) call a challenge? It is becoming patently clear that Ramaphosa’s “our people” simply cannot, or do not want to farm, they just want the cash handouts and free stuff that comes with all these disastrous virtue seeking schemes. The milk farm financed by the state to the tune of R43 million, as a much publicised empowerment project for “our people”, has collapsed in the Eastern Cape, leaving most of the cows dead and not much going on besides the odd sickly cow wandering about.

Collateral Damage: Did Covid restrictions let a man literally starve to a lonely death, in yet another horror story from a state hospital, preventing his family from noticing and helping him? Allowed to die from hunger and dehydration in Tsheponh hospital in Klerksdorp? By now everyone should be aware of what death traps SA state hospitals have become, as 58 year old Andre Smit’s family found out when Andre died in hospital on 17 February 2021, after the hospital inexplicably refused him kidney dialysis treatment. Due to Covid the family were barred from helping him themselves and they are convinced he developed kidney failure because of dehydration, from neglect, hunger and thirst in the Tshepong hospital.

Lack of empathy causes disturbed patient being burned after being locked up in solitary confinement at Wentworth Hospital

A mentally disturbed patient was found with burns after being locked alone in a ward in the Wentworth Hospital in Durban, said the IVP.
Ncamisile Nkwanyana, the IVP’s health spokeswoman in KwaZulu-Natal, said urgent action should be taken against medical staff who neglect mental-disturbed patients in health care institutions.
“The neglect of such patients is a serious concern. Misconduct, incompetence and negligence do not belong in our healthcare system and there must be drastic action against anyone convicted of it. ”
Nkwanyana believes the nurses concerned should be suspended and their actions are being investigated, and if found guilty, they must be fired because “a lack of empathy may not be tolerated in our healthcare system”.
She says the IFP is concerned about the absence of professionalism in health care institutions and observes a collapse of the professional healthcare sector, especially in public institutions.
