A man was shot on Wednesday in the early hours in front of his six-year-old daughter and his fiancé when burglars gained access to their house on a farm in Leeuwfontein near Roodeplaat, Pretoria.

A man was been shot dead while a woman was shot and injured in a farm attack at Komatipoort in Mpumalanga on Sunday, police said.
The man was shot once and the woman several times, said Colonel Mtsholi Bhembe.

PE cyclist attacked with a plank while cycling in Walmer

A Port Elizabeth cyclist was left battered and bleeding on the side of the road after he was ambushed, hit over the head with a plank and robbed at the weekend.
The early morning attack, on Saturday at about 5am, took place when businessman Graham Munton, 57, was cycling on Heugh Road towards 6th Avenue in Walmer.
He was cycling from his home in Lovemore Heights.

Me. Sonja Joubert, the girlfriend of Mr. Jasper von Kleist (61) whom was shot in a farm attack, said it did not seem that the terrorists wanted to rob anything but actually just wanted to kill the people on the farm.
Mr. Von Kleist, a foreman on the farm Dale in the Tom Burke area, died after being shot in the upper body. Me. Joubert was shot twice. One shot through her arm and the other through her shoulder.

A former farmer of Zimbabwe who fled the country because of old president Robert Mugabe’s groundbreaking policy, died on Monday afternoon after he and his wife were attacked on their farm in the Northern Cape almost three weeks ago. Athol Harvey (80) and his wife, Colleen (78), of the farm Weltevrede near Spitskopdam were attacked and robbed in their home on February 14.
A FEISTY 79-year-old woman fought off three men who forcefully entered her home on a farm situated between Barkly West and Windsorton during the early hours of the morning of February 14.
