“The community of Rustenburg is shocked by the suspected brutal murder of a defenceless, frail old man this weekend,” captain Elsabé Augoustides, a police spokesperson said in an interview with the Platinum Weekly newspaper.
Wilhelm Gustav Napoleon Wagner (88), known to his closest as ‘Oom Willie’, was allegedly brutally murdered in his own home in Maroela avenue, Protea Park in Rustenburg. He was living alone after his wife passed away sever and a half years ago.

A farmer was brutally murdered on Friday night on his farm near Koës in Namibia. He is only identified as a Mr Bothma. No further details have as yet been released.
The thugs fleeing from the scene of the brutal murder near Koës in the south of Namibia during Friday night allegedly hit a horse while fleeing the scene and severely damaged the stolen vehicle they used to try and evade the long arm of the law.
