The ANC’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa and the ANC’s so-called new and clean administration promises are as expected, just empty promises. Ministers from the Zuma honorary and those who have not yet been appointed are nominated as chairmen of parliamentary oversight committees. Even those currently implicated in the state capture are still considered fit for senior..

There was a heart-stopping moment in the National Council of Provinces on Thursday morning – with both MP candidates and guests in the gallery holding their collective breath – as chief justice Mogoeng Mogoeng began the proceedings by citing a constitutional requirement that prohibits a convicted criminal from becoming an MP. Mogoeng, without naming names,..

The Cape Secedes from South Africa! Khoi King Khoebaha III Declares The Sovereign State of Good Hope Independent!
The Universal Declaration of Independence which was signed at the historic Castle in Cape Town on 24th September 2017 claims the current Western Cape, The Northern Cape and the Eastern Cape up to the Fish River, as its sovereign territory with 15 Million citizens. Secession is the action of withdrawing formally from membership and participation of any federation, body or political state.
Representatives from white South African people approached the Khoi king with a plan for secession and it was discussed over a five hour long meeting. The plan was agreed to and a verbal agreement was put in place. The plan was simple, that the Khoi King secede with the backing of the Khoi, Afrikaner Boers, Other European descendants and Coloureds. For this backing, these four nations would equally power share in a new government under a sovereign parliament federal government system as laid out in the brief that was received by all parties. And thus a relationship was born a

Cabinet welcomes land exploration motion
Cape Town – Cabinet is concerned “when people go internationally to protect white supremacy”, Minister of Communications Nomvula Mokonyane said at a post-Cabinet media briefing on Thursday.
She added that the people at the extremes of the land debate – those propagating land grabs on the one end and those “demonstrating supremacy” – did not represent the whole of South Africa.

One thing is clear: until poor South Africans own their homes, be they in cities or rural areas, development will stall
Cyril Ramaphosa was immediately hailed as a breath of fresh air after the decade-long Jacob Zuma debacle. The nation forgot, or ignored, his role in Marikana while his prowess as a businessman was lauded. A sensible, urbane politician who would save the economy.
His recent Cabinet reshuffle, however, reveals much of the same. The executive remains bloated and, with cronies retaining influence, his reputation for clean governance is shaken. The national conversation, however, has swung to expropriation without compensation.

ANC welcomes Ramaphosa’s Cabinet reshuffle
The ANC has welcome president Cyril Ramaphosa’s decision to reshuffle his cabinet. Ramaphosa made the announcement of his new cabinet on Monday evening at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
“As the ANC, we particularly commend the President for having exercised this prerogative in consultation with the National Officials of the ANC and our Alliance Partners. Undoubtedly, this act of giving due regard to the resolutions of the African National Congress, in the exercise of the prerogative bestowed upon the President, lays a strong foundation for greater alignment and cooperation between the ANC and its cadres deployed in government,” said the ANC in the statement.

Guess who’s back? Nhlanhla Nene has returned to the hot seat as South Africa’s Finance Minister, just two years and two months after he was unceremoniously dumped by Jacob Zuma.
President Jacob Zuma issued a statement removing Nene from his post in December 2015, but the presidential address did not clearly outline the reasons behind Nene’s dismissal. He replaces Malusi Gigaba, who has moved on to Home Affairs.
Yet here he is, having the last laugh as he and JZ cross paths through the ANC’s revolving doors. We wanted to learn a bit more about him, and see what kind of politician we are getting back in cabinet

The South African Communist Party (SACP) said on Monday it welcomed the policy of expropriation of land without compensation as another means of achieving land reform.
“While we do not believe that the existing constitutional requirement of paying just and equitable not market compensation has remotely been an impediment to serious land reform, in fact, the constitutional right to expropriate in the public interest has never been used for land restitution,” the party’s general secretary, Dr Blade Nzimande, said during a press briefing.
He said the country’s constitution made provisions for the state to determine the amount to be paid as compensation for expropriated land, which is hardly used by the government.

Foreign affairs a top priority for CR despite SA’s bad rep abroad
President Cyril Ramaphosa may have reduced foreign affairs to five sentences in his State of the Nation Address (SONA), but make no mistake, that is not an indication of the level of priority he attaches to international relations. It is through South Africa’s foreign relations that he will seek to achieve his domestic priorities.
The SONA was a clear articulation of those priorities – improving economic growth, which has been hovering around 1%, by increasing business confidence, wooing investors and expanding trade, which will translate into job creation and poverty reduction. These objectives cannot be achieved without a robust foreign policy that focuses on economic diplomacy.
