Witnesses in the tribunal in Pretoria have linked two French presidents with Zuma and Mbeki around the arms scandal.
According to Ajay Sooklal, Jacques Chirac has requested Thabo Mbeki to persuade the National Prosecuting Authority to pay no attention to an investigation into the Thales arms manufacturer.
