Colored parents in the Gauteng area believe there is a war against Afrikaans as a language and Afrikaans schools in particular. The impression is that the coloreds accept it, but they are now discriminating against their children as Afrikaans schools are moving to English medium schools and so they need to search for other Afrikaans..
