Goodwill Zwelithini, the Zulu king, wants it in black and white that no land belonging to the Ingonyama Trust will be targeted during land reform. At the yearly Shaka Day festivities in Durban, King Goodwill said that no Zulu land will be expropriated.

The king demanded another visit from South Africa’s president and bring with him a guarantee that Zulu land is safe from land reform.
The king has been very outspoken about expropriation. He is still angry about the mention of tribal land being targeted for expropriation, according to IOL News. The Ingonyama Trust owns almost 30% of land in KZN and the king is the sole trustee of the land.
The king said Ramaphosa should go down to KZN with “something in black and white to assure all the Zulus that their land will not be touched,”.
