The South African Revenue Service (SARS) is apparently badly affected by a silent protest by taxpayers who no longer wish to submit returns and therefore probably no or less tax are therefore paid.
This occurred especially in the Zuma era where people and businesses have quietly restrained their money so that the ANC-regime cannot exploit it.
Now, SARS wants to prosecute individuals who do not submit returns as criminals and sentence them with a criminal record. To that end, they need the prosecution authority, which seems to cooperate with it.
A company representative in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal has already been found guilty in the above mentioned sentence.
