The Public Protector of South Africa, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, appointed by Jacob Zuma, court debts has become so much that she will hardly be able to settle the amount.
Unconfirmed reports say she has now offered to pay R100 a month to reduce debt.
One of the court cases related to the Absa bankers eventually cost her R900,000, and for an offer she made, it’s probably not going to pay the interest.
Without calculating interest on the amount, it means that the OB will pay about 750 years to settle the debts of one court case.
Observers said mockingly they recommend that the OB develop a cure that will extend its life by hundreds of years.
