The Plastics Translators of SA (PCSA) accused Numsa members to be responsible for the fire that broke o out at of a factory in Ladybrand in the Free State.
More than 10,000 Numsa workers that works in the plastic industry are on strike and currently demanding a 15% salary increase.
A PCSA representative says there is a difference between a strike and a riot, and Numsa must accept responsibility for the fire.
Several black unions’ members have recently made themselves guilty of arson and plundering, of which the most famous in the recent past occurred in the Western Cape, where trains and buildings were burned down.
