Funds earmarked for the development of projects in the Western Transvaal and the Northern Transvaal (Limpopo) apparently disappeared into thin air.

The investigating officer says he is experiencing serious problems in obtaining the details needed to conduct the investigation, and the lack of information is also accompanied by a lack of transparency.
The possibility of another major corruption battlefield is not excluded, one observer later said.
Billions of Rand can be involved in the mysterious cases that require investigations, but whether it will actually come to the surface is another question on its own.
