A manhunt has been launched to try and track down those responsible for an alleged hit on the CEO of a Gupta-owned mining company. Jagannath Arora was gunned down while driving in Midrand in northern Johannesburg on Saturday night.
Police are still searching for the suspects involved in the killing of Jagannath Arora on Saturday night.
Arora was the CEO of Gupta-owned company, JIC Mining Services. JIC Mining Services is a subsidiary of Tegeta Resources and Exploration – also owned by the Guptas.
Arora was ambushed by gunmen while driving in Midrand. After being shot, he tried to drive himself to a hospital but died on the way.
Arora was alone during the attack. Gauteng police spokesperson, Kay Makhubele said his car was sprayed with bullets.
