Eskom’s spokesperson, Khulu Phasiwe, announced on Tuesday morning that chances of load shedding were high.
He called on South Africans to switch off devices they do not use so that the pressure on the network can be reduced.
Eskom says it will let South Africans know if load shedding is applied.
He said earlier that he would only implement load shedding if needed.
