The ANC government of Cyril Ramaphosa will be very sorry if they decide to take the land of a farmer from the Eastern Transvaal without compensation.
The farmer, who prefers to remain anonymous, has decided that his farm’s value will drop drastically if the government decides to take its land.
He says there are many ways in which the farm can be made “useless”, because if they want to take land, they can do it, but before that day finally arrives, his farm will be “converted into a piece of land that will be useless for a very long time ”.
Asked what he was going to do, there was apparently only a mischievous smile on the open, honest face of a man who built his place with hard work.
“One of the first things that can be done is to burn off all the buildings, and to destroy the fields where crops are standing, to break up dam walls, to destroy windmills and boreholes, but that’s not all …” he said.
