As received- President Cyril Ramaphosa’s tone has completely changed on the conversation of farm attacks.
When a newsman asked him if the war on farm attacks is one of his priorities Ramaphosa snapped.
“If it was real news it would have been on TV every night, stop drawing bad attention to the country over this, call it what it is, it’s crime, not genocide.
How can we build a country when its own citizen is destroying its reputation on the internet.
You want me to engage in a problem that only exists on the internet?”
Ramaphosa even touched on the time when Donald Trump sent people to South Africa to investigate farm attacks. “The social media is can be very misleading that even the president of the US thought farm attacks was actually a thing until he sent people to investigate the issue”
His deputy DD Mabuza said there are people who are determined to make the democratically elected black government look bad. “They should ask the Rhodesian what it’s actually like when the black government does not care about you”
“We cannot allocate all our resources to 5% of the cozy people who own thousands of hectors of land”
