The United Liberty Alliance has issued a statement regarding the apparent Scorched Earth Strategy now being inflicted on the South Africa Farming Community. Since Sunday October 18th disturbing reports of farmlands being set alight in what appears to be a well planned strategy have started surfacing on social media in South Africa and escalating, as it continues to occur in more towns of the north western Free State. Up until Tuesday 20th at noon, no mainstream media news reports could be found emanating from any of these platforms even though numerous messages, visuals and voice notes have been sent across open community platforms which include certain emergency support groups.
These appeals included heart wrenching voice notes from farmers recording their cries for assistance while fighting the raging flames. These reports sketch graphic events of property set alight with livestock and game farm animals caught in these unforgiving blazes, with great loss to the lives of trapped animals. These towns are all in remote areas, where farms stretch across many hectares. Due to the type of veld and the logistical impracticality of firefighting, teams coming to these farmers’ aid, is futile.
The towns so far hit by these acts of terrorism are Hoopstad, Hertzogville, Boshof and Dealesville, but the fear is that this might only be the beginning of an organized onslaught. An excess of 100,000 hectares of farmland have been destroyed at the time of this report, with R millions of damage.
According to some reports, the spate of arson was initiated to protest against municipal services due to poor water quality delivered to the residents of Hertzogville. However, with these affected farming towns stretching across some 120km (70 miles), it seems rather unlikely to relate solely to the specific service delivery issue of Hertzogville. Until more facts can be determined as to the underlying motivation behind this new phenomenon directed on the already stressed farming community, indications are that it forms part of a larger plan of forcing whites from farms.
By now it is well known globally that the farming communities and specifically the white farmers of South Africa are targeted by politically motivated criminal elements on a daily basis. These attacks and brutal murders are committed with a clear intention to instill fear and hopelessness among white farmers. The public denial in New York by Cyril Ramaphosa, including the stance of the communistic, socialistic cadres of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) that the killing of white farmers are purely a part of the “ordinary” criminal activities in South Africa is totally unacceptable.
Julius Malema, leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters, openly and repeatedly continues to chant the song “Kill the Boer, kill the farmer” during rallies and protests, without so much as a rap over their fingers from the biased, inept, communist ANC government.
This new tactic and latest occurrences follow closely after the recent events resulting from an attack on the 21 year old Senekal farm foreman, Brendin Horner, who was severely beaten during the assault and eventually stabbed to death, then, tied to one of the fence poles with the knife left at his feet in a sinister foreboding message to farmers.
When the second hearing of the court case related to Brendin Horner’s murder was to be held, a standoff between the farmers protesting against farm murders and EFF supporters ensued. Thanks to proper leadership and the police force the general mood of participants was controlled and the day ended with no serious incident. This particular case of Brendin Horner’s killing has sparked a turning moment for farmers and other supporters of all race groups against these
atrocities.
A summary of farm murder statistics indicate that there was an increase during 2020 ytd when compared to previous years. This is in line with the increased activities of the EFF in mobilizing their members to create chaos, from unruly
protests supposedly against their perceived notions of racism against blacks and during which property is destroyed and burnt, people intimidated and openly encouraging the killing of whites.
Judicial injustice is also practised when no reprimand or arrest is made for this gross acts of human rights violation against by racist EFF leader or his followers, whilst two white farmers were arrested on charges of terrorism, public violence and malicious damage to property following minor incidents during the two peaceful court case protests in Senekal. As an added insult, the two accused murderers of Brendin Horner were released on R2,000 bail while bail for the white accused amounted to R15,000 each.
South Africa has clearly spiraled towards utter government mismanagement, with a frenzy of crime, corruption and gross injustices, carrying with it the results of infrastructure collapse, state controlled enterprises driven to bankruptcy. This is
against the backdrop of 114 race-based laws and the government’s program of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) depriving the non-black minority population of meaningful participation in economic development programmes.
The United Liberty Alliance is a non-profit, minority rights organisation that started the international legal process for self-determination in 2014 through secession (break-away). This process has advanced to the penultimate stage, where the mandate from the minority groups is required for the legal secession from the mother country of South Africa. This offers a permanent solution to the situation of the minorities of the white, brown and Indian population groups.
The ULA’s case was received by the UN Secretary Antònio Guterres in May 2019, and was subsequently referred to the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet.
Initially the target was to obtain the required mandate count of 2 million votes before the 2024 general election, but due to the ever deteriorating circumstances this bar has shifted dramatically over the past few months and the urgency has thus reached a critical level. The current mandate counter can be viewed on https://www/ulacongress.com/totals from where additional details about our transparent process can be accessed.
Most local and global mainstream media lack proper insight and compassion towards the real situation on the ground level making them incapable, unable or unwilling to recognise that the only viable solution remaining, is for these oppressed minority groups to secure a safe, stable, sovereign, independent country through a two state solution offered by legal secession.
