Several prominent political entities in South-Africa strongly objects to a comment from a MTN employee in response to a consumer’s question.
It is believed that a white woman was complaining about her data usage expenditure. The Mtn consultant sarcastically commented (in ANC and EFF mode): “At least you still have the land”. The racist comment was then removed by MTN, but not before a screen shot was taken about the conversation. The parties involved are still waiting for a prompt reply from MTN.
The Boycott Spur campaign has clearly shown that whites are now sick and tired of cross-responses and ambiguous actions as if whites are second-rate citizens.
